About this policy
Reclaim (“the app”) is made by Symphonic Grow (“we,” “us”). Reclaim helps you search official U.S. state unclaimed-property databases and track your claims. This policy explains, plainly, what data the app handles and what we can and cannot see.
The short version
We collect nothing. Reclaim has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no trackers. Everything you type stays on your device. We never see your name, your relatives' names, your searches, or your findings — and we couldn't if we wanted to, because the app never sends them to us.
Information you enter, and where it lives
To build your search plan, you may enter names (including names of deceased relatives), relationships, states, cities and ZIP codes, and details about property you find (descriptions, amounts, property IDs, notes).
All of it is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is included in your normal device backups (iCloud or computer backups) under your control, like any app's data. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party by the app.
Deleting your data: remove any person or finding inside the app, or delete the app to erase everything. There is nothing to delete on our side, because nothing was ever sent to us.
The in-app browser and state websites
When you tap a search, Reclaim opens the official state government website (or the state's contracted portal) inside the app and, for your convenience, types the name you saved into that site's search form — on your device, exactly as if you had typed it yourself. Nothing is submitted until you tap the site's own Search button.
Anything you enter or submit on a state website goes to that website, governed by that state's own privacy policy — not ours. Cookies and browsing data from those sites are stored on your device by iOS. We do not see, intercept, log, or store anything you do on state websites.
Your Social Security number
Reclaim never asks for your SSN and has no field for it. Some states ask for identity documents on their own websites when you file a claim — that happens entirely between you and the state.
Be cautious: no legitimate unclaimed-property process ever asks for payment, gift cards, or online-banking passwords.
Purchases
The optional Reclaim Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details, card numbers, or billing information. Refunds and payment questions are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms.
Notifications
Reminders (re-search nudges and claim follow-ups) are local notifications, scheduled and delivered by your device. No notification data leaves your device, and you can turn them off anytime in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Children
Reclaim is not directed at children under 13, and since the app collects no data, no children's data is collected.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws)
Because we do not collect, store, sell, share, or process your personal information, there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, delete, or port. Your data is in your hands, on your device. If you have questions about exercising any privacy right, contact us and we'll respond.
What Reclaim is — and isn't
— Reclaim is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, any state unclaimed-property program, the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA), or MissingMoney.com.
— Searching for and claiming unclaimed property is always free on official state websites. Reclaim never files claims on your behalf, never takes a percentage of anything you recover, and never guarantees that money will be found.
— Reclaim provides general information, not legal, financial, or tax advice. For complex situations (such as estates), consider consulting a qualified professional.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy and change the effective date above. Continued use after a change means the updated policy applies.
