About this policy
Owed (“the app”) is published by Symphonic Grow (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does — and, mostly, does not do — with your information. The short version: we don't collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
Data stored on your device and in your iCloud
Everything you do in the app — which settlements you track, which you mark as filed, and your reminder preferences — is stored locally on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, this data also syncs through Apple's iCloud key-value storage to your other devices. That storage belongs to your personal iCloud account; it is encrypted and managed by Apple, and we have no access to it.
Deleting the app removes the local data; you can clear the iCloud copy in your device's iCloud settings.
What the app never collects
— No name, email, phone number, or account of any kind
— No details of the claims you file — filing happens entirely on the official settlement website, outside the app
— No location data, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers
— No usage analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
Network requests the app makes
The app periodically downloads its settlement dataset (a static file) from our website, symphonicgrow.com. Like any web request, our hosting provider's standard server logs may briefly record your IP address; we do not use these logs to identify or track you.
Payments
The optional Owed Pro subscription is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Notifications
Deadline reminders are local notifications, scheduled and delivered on your device. They never pass through our servers.
Third-party settlement websites
When you tap “File claim on official site,” the app opens the settlement administrator's own website. Anything you enter there — including any personal information required to file a claim — is governed by that site's privacy policy, not ours. We are not affiliated with settlement administrators, courts, or defendants.
Children
Owed is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them (or from anyone else).
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because we hold no user data, changes will generally reflect new app features rather than new data collection.
