Itqan is built so that we know nothing about you. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Itqan has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.

Everything the app knows — your memorization queue, review history, progress, streaks, and settings — is stored locally on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes this data.

When you play or download a recitation, the app fetches the audio file directly from EveryAyah.com, a public Quran recitation archive. Like any internet request, this necessarily exposes your device's IP address to that server. We operate no servers of our own and receive nothing from this exchange. Downloaded audio is stored only on your device.

The optional one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It involves no server and sends no data.

Itqan collects no data from anyone, including children.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would only ever describe the same or stronger protections.
